Anyone who works in marketing knows that quality photos always seem hard to come by. It's very hard to get good material, especially with the popularity of social networking.
Potential clients want to see you and your employee's smiling faces. They aren't just interested in your products and services, they want their experience to be interactive and enjoyable too. Photography is a great way to let them into your business. Even if you only sell sand, a photo of sand isn't particularly appealing. A nice portrait of the dump truck driver on a nice day puts a face to the product to reveal the human element of an ideal business relationship.
And don't forget the history of your company. Company events are a great time to have a roving photographer
